Lagom Studio Pottery

Discover a unique fusion of art and function in handcrafted pottery by Hillsdale artisan Cory-Lynn Styles

Living a LAGOM Life

Lagom is a “just right” way of life.  A Swedish philosophy of living that encourages moderation, balance, connecting with nature and taking care of our communities, being resourceful and doing things for ourselves; with our hands we can build and create beautiful and useful things.  My pottery and practice are influenced everyday by this way of living.  My aim is to live gently on this good earth and so I love the long-lasting quality and sustainability of handcrafted pottery for everyday use.  A beautifully handcrafted mug filled, warm in your hands, a fresh morning, singing birds and the awesomeness of the changing seasons – these are the “just right” moments that make life so lovely.
